Device MAC address
Each SIWAREX module has a unique MAC address. This MAC address cannot be changed
by the user.

Port MAC address
Each SIWAREX module has a unique MAC port address. This MAC address cannot be
changed by the user.

IP address
Assign the IP address using the Primary Setup Tool, SIWATOOL, or via the SIMATIC (see
chapter "IP address for SIWAREX (Page 56)").

Subnet mask
Assign the subnet mask of your network.
8.12.6
Gateway
If a gateway is used between the SIWAREX WP231 and the communication partner, enter
the gateway address here.
If a gateway is not present, enter the IP address of the SIWAREX module.
8.12.7
Device name
This parameter can be used to assign a name to the weighing module in the Ethernet
network. The length of the name is limited to 32 characters. Empty spaces must be filled by
"x".
