Possible Cause
Tolerance of 1 mbar.
Pressure transducers out of calibration.
Forward and mean jets out of calibration.
Remedy
Re-calibrate pressure transducers.
Re-calibrate forward and mean jets.
25. Symptom: Set O
2
% is not the same as displayed O
2
%.
Possible Cause
O
2
cell has aged.
O
2
system requires calibration.
Two point calibration carried out with blender set to a value higher than 21%.
Blender fault.
Remedy
Carry out a two point calibration with the blender set to 21%.
Measure the % O
2
from the fresh gas port. If the external analyser reading reads the same
as the set, replace O
2
cell.
Measure the % O
2
from the fresh gas port. If the external analyser reading differs from the
set, replace the blender.
26. Symptom: Alarm message: Mains power fail at startup.
Possible Cause
Ventilator started on battery power.
Mains inlet fuse or plug fuse blown.
Remedy
Connect mains power.
Replace fuse.
