16.5 48 month / 20,000 hour overhaul procedure
The procedure for the 48 month / 20,000 overhaul is as follows for Options 1 and 2.
1. Remove the outer cover, inner cover and base
plate
2. Remove the front facia panel by removing the
attaching countersunk screws.
Note: The front facia panel cannot be
removed completely as it remains connected
via two electrical cables to the electronic unit.
3. Disconnect the following tubes connected to ports (A & B).
Note: Tubing removed for clarity.
4. Disconnect the three looms (C, D & E) from the bulkhead connectors.
5. Remove the seven fixing screws and washers (F).
