16.2.3 Replacement of N2042 “O” Rings
1. Remove the silencer and exhalation
block from the ventilator.
2. Locate the two ’O’ rings located (A & B)
on gas ports.
3. Using a blunt probe lift out the old ’O’
ring and discard. Repeat the process for
the other ’O’ ring.
4. Wipe the gas ports with an approved
sterilizing solution.
5. Place new ’O’ rings into the grooves.
