A011 : RF SWITCHING POS.
This menu is used to adjust the RF switching position
automatically or manually. Only the automatic adjustment
is described below.

. It is not necessary to perform this adjustment in both
525/60 and 625/50 systems. On performing it in either
system, the other system is automatically updated.
. Alignment tape SR2-1 (for 525/60 system) or SR2-1P (for
625/50 system) located in the beginning of time code
00:25:00:00 in advance is required for this adjustment.
If the specified alignment tape is not used, the adjust-
ment cannot be properly performed even if a message
“ADJUST COMPLETE” is displayed on completing the
adjustment.
To execute the automatic adjustment
(1) Check to see that an * mark is assigned to “AUTO” on
the superimposed display.
. If the * mark is assigned to “MANUAL”, turn the
search dial to set the mark to “AUTO”.
. In a time data display area, the automatic adjustment
(AUTO) will be displayed as “A0110”, and the
manual adjustment (MANUAL) will be displayed as
“A0111”.
(2) Press the SET button.
(3) Insert the alignment tape SR2-1 or SR2-1P located in
beginning of time code 00:25:00:00.
. The adjustment is initiated on inserting the align-
ment tape.
. During the automatic adjustment, a message “AD-
JUSTING......” will be displayed on only the super-
imposed display.
(4) Check the adjustment result.
. On completing the automatic adjustment, the
message “ADJUST COMPLETE” will be displayed
and the alignment tape will automatically be ejected.
If the automatic adjustment fails, a message “#
ADJUST INCOMPLETE #” will be displayed. In
this case, refer to the “For Automatic Adjustment
Failure (A000 to A011)” on next page.
(5) To exit the menu, press the MENU button once.
(6) To save the adjustment data into the NV-RAM of a
servo system, execute the SAVE SERVO ADJUST
DATA in A012 : NV-RAM CONTROL menu.
