Monitor Setup
Consistency and flexibility are built into the monitor to make sure that it
is easy to use and that optimal performance is met with minimal effort.
It can be precisely and easily adjusted to meet the needs of your facility
and your patients.
You can adjust the following settings for the monitor:
Audio tab: Lets you adjust the volume of alarms originating from the local
monitor individually by alarm priority, and the volume of the tones that are
associated with a remote alarm and that occur when you touch a key. Refer to
Alarm Audio on page 12-2.
Alarm Limit Review tab: Lets you print the current alarm settings of all
monitored parameters, including the current volume setting for each alarm
priority. Refer to Alarm Limit Review on page 12-5.
Local Config tab: Lets you adjust colors of the parameter waveforms and the
order in which parameters show on the display. Refer to Local Config on
page 12-6.
Printer tab: Lets you configure recording duration, recording location, and the
number of channels on a recording. Refer to Printer on page 12-9.
Setup tab: Lets you change the settings for the clock display on the monitor,
graticule lines when scaled pressures are shown, and the alarm light. Refer to
Setup on page 12-12.
Numerics tab: Lets you select a large numerics window format for display or to
turn off the large numerics window. The factory default turns off large
numerics. Refer to Numerics on page 12-15.
Remote Config tab: Lets you adjust parameter colors and order for the remote
display. Refer to Remote Config (XPREZZON only) on page 12-17.
