PERATIONS MANUAL
A LARMS
Alarm Audio
You can enable, disable, or adjust the volume for:
High, Medium, and Low alarm audio: Tones that sound when a high, medium,
or low priority alarm occurs at the bedside monitor.
Remote alarm audio: Tones that sound when an alarm initiates at a remote
monitor that is being viewed on this monitor.
Alarm Watch audio: Tones that sound when this monitor receives an alarm
watch message from a remote monitor that this monitor is configured to
watch.
Warnings:
Disabling alarm tones at a monitor eliminates alarm tones for all alarm
conditions at that monitor, even in the case of life-threatening events.
Check alarm volumes periodically! Turning the volume off or too low may
defeat the audible alarm function. A minimum volume selection is described
in the XPREZZON
and qube
System Administration Manual.
The two lowest volume settings produce less than 45 dBA at one meter from
the internal speaker.
