Trends
Trends provide clinicians with a tool to quickly assess the patient’s
current clinical status. Different trend views can be created to match a
specific clinical scenario or patient type.
Trends show numeric data collected for a patient over a 96-hour
period. Data is available until the data is purged or the monitor is powered off.
The monitor collects trend values every minute and collects episodic trend values as
they become available. The monitor maintains settings for trend displays (timebase,
parameters, window size, etc.) until you change them or until you view a new
patient's trend.
Trends can show in two formats:
Tabular: Shows measurements in a tabular format, similar to a spreadsheet.
Graphical: Shows measurements as points on a grid, connected by line
segments.
Notes:
Trend data for ECG and RESP is not collected while ECG processing is
suspended.
Trend data for SpO
2
is not collected while SpO
2
processing is suspended.
Trend data for CO
2
is not collected while CO
2
sampling is suspended.
Trend data for CO
2
, O
2
, N
2
O and anesthetic agents is not collected while
multigas sampling is suspended.
The Trends window does not time out. To close the Trends window, touch
the X in the right upper corner of the window, or touch the Home icon.
Trends View
Views can have up to one tabular display and up to four graphical displays.
