After measuring, the results display:
5. To record the point, press [REC/ENT]. The arc is stored in comment records.
Press [v] or the DSP softkey to switch between display screens.
Remote distance measurement
This function measures the horizontal distance, vertical distance, and slope distance between two
points.
There are two methods available:
• MlmRadial (A-B, A-C). See MlmRadial, page 81.
• Mlm Cont. (A-B, B-C). See Mlm Cont., page 82.
Sta Horizontal distance from P1 to the measured point along the P1-P2 line
O/S Horizontal offset from the P1-P2 line to the measured point
dZ Vertical offset from the P1-P2 line to the measured point
rSD Slope distance between two points
rHD Horizontal distance between two points
rVD Vertical distance between two points
rV% Percentage of grade (rVD/rHD) × 100%
rGD Vertical grade (rHD/rVD)
rAZ Azimuth from first point to second point
