1. Remove the probe from the analyzer. Refer to “Removing the
Oxygen Probe” on page B-11.
2. Pour enough to ethanol into a clean container to cover the probe tip
when submerged.
3. Submerge probe tip into container with ethanol.
4. Remove probe from container.
5. Place lint-free wipe on flat surface and gently tap the probe tip
against the wipe to remove excess liquid and any contaminant
residue.
6. Replace oxygen probe in the analyzer. Refer to “Replacing the
Oxygen Probe” on page B-15.
7. Recalibrate analyzer. Refer “Calibration” on page 3-15.
Temperature Probe Lifespan
The temperature probe is estimated to last as long as the analyzer itself,
therefore does not require replacement.
Replacing the Fuse
Use the following instructions to replace a fuse. Refer to Figure 1–2 on
page 1–5 for the fuse location.
1. Turn off power to the analyzer and open the enclosure door using a
standard flathead screwdriver to unlatch the lock.
2. Using a flat-head screwdriver (or comparable), remove the cover
from the fuse enclosure. Refer to Figure B–1.
Leave the probe tip submerged for 5 - 30 minutes depending on
amount of visible contaminant.
Repeat steps 3-5 if contaminant is still visible on the probe tip.
