13.6.1 General
General
Thefollowingdirections(inaccordancewiththestateoftheart‐internationalstandardIEC
60825‐1(2007‐03)andIECTR60825‐14(2004‐02))provideinstructionandtraininginforma‐
tiontothepersonresponsiblefortheproductandthepersonwhoactuallyusestheequipment,
toanticipateandavoidoperationalhazards.
Thepersonresponsiblefortheproductmustensurethatallusersunderstandthesedirections
andadheretothem.

TheEDMmodulebuiltintothisproductproducesavisiblelaserbeamwhichemergesfromthe
telescopeobjective.
Thelaserproductdescribedinthissection,isclassifiedaslaserclass1inaccordancewith:
• IEC60825‐1(2007‐03):"Safetyoflaserproducts".
• EN60825‐1(2007‐10):"Safetyoflaserproducts".
Class1laserproductsaresafeunderreasonablyforeseeableconditionsofoperationandare
notharmfultotheeyesprovidedthattheproductsareusedandmaintainedinaccordancewith
thisusermanual.
