6.4 R-SW handpiece overhaul
Shock waves are generated mechanically. Due to the effects of friction, the handpiece
components are continuously exposed to mechanical stress, which will cause minor
wear.
NOTE
The R-SW handpiece should be overhauled about every 1,000,000 shocks.
This can be done quickly and easily by the user of the device. All that is required
is the overhaul kit, which includes all required wear parts.
For overhauling the R-SW handpiece please read he separate Operating Manual Of the
r-sW handpieCe.
