3.6 Description of the F-SW module with accessories
The F-SW module generates focused shock waves with a short wavelength that are
concentrated on a focal zone outside the therapy head. They take effect at depth.
The penetration depth can be varied using stand-off devices, and be adapted to the
tissue level which is to be treated.
3.6.1 Control and functional elements
The F-SW module is controlled using the touch screen or the display of the handpiece
F-SW SEPIA.
Here, you can make the treatment settings as described in kapitel 4.5 tOuCh sCreen
OperatiOn.
The shocks are triggered using the handpiece.
