Port Control
Clicking the PORT CONTROL tab brings up the PORT CONTROL page (Figure 5-52), which
allows you to change port parameters for ports that you select by clicking on the check
box in front of them (or checking ALL to select all ports). The parameters for this page
are shown in Table 5-41.

Parameter Description
Mode This parameter allows you to select either Auto or NoNego for your port mode.
Advert
For each selected port you may choose to click on a check box for 10h, 10f,
100h, 100f or 1000f Advert options.
Duplex
This parameter allows you to select either Half or Full options for Duplex if you
have already selected NoNegro for the Mode option. This option is unavailable if
the Auto mode option was selected.
Speed
This parameter allows you to select either 1 Gbps, 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps options
for port speed if you have already selected NoNegro for the Mode option. This
option is unavailable if the Auto mode option was selected.
FlowControl Admin
Status
This parameter allows you to select either Disabled, Transmit, Receive or Both
options for Flow Control Admin Status.
FlowControl Oper
Status
This parameter only provides information on what the Flow Control Oper Status
is and is not configurable on this page.
HOL-Block
Prevention
This parameter allows you to select either Enabled or Disabled options for
HOL-Block Prevention for the port.
