Interface
Clicking the INTERFACE tab brings up the INTERFACE SETTINGS page (Figure 5-123). The
parameters for this page are shown in Table 5-104.
SPF Hold Time
This parameter specifies the minimum time between two consecutive SPF
calculations. The allowed value ranges between 1 and 65535.The default value
is 10.
Default Passive
Interface
This parameter specifies whether all the OSPFv3 interfaces created after this
setting are passive or not.
Trace Level This parameter defines the level of trace required for OSPFv3.

Parameter Description
VLAN/Tunnel
Identifier
This parameter specifies the IPv6 interface over which OSPFv3 is enabled.
Area ID This parameter specifies the area ID associated with the IPv6 interface.
Interface Type
This parameter specifies the type of OSPFv3 interface (broadcast, nbma,
pointToPoint and pointToMultipoint).
Priority
This parameter specifies the priority of the interface. The allowed value ranges
between 0 and 255.The default value is 1.
