Clicking the ADVANCED tab brings up the ADVANCED BGP CONFIGURATION page
(Figure 5-132), which configures dampening and confederation parameters. The
parameters for this page are shown in Table 5-113.

Parameter Description
ID
This parameter specifies the index to this table. The allowed value ranges
between 1 and 10.
IP Address Prefix This parameter specifies the IP address prefix that needs to be aggregated.
IP Address Prefix
Length
This parameter, in combination with the IP Prefix, decides the aggregated route
to be distributed by this switch. The allowed value ranges between 0 and 32.
Route Advertise
With this parameter you can either choose to advertise only the aggregated
routes by setting Summary only, or choose to advertise all routes by setting All.
Status This parameter specifies the status of the entry.
