5-8 FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY
REMOVAL
• Remove the fuel tank. (5-3)
• Remove the fuel pump assembly 1 by removing its mounting
bolts diagonally.
• Remove the nuts.
• Remove the lead wire 1, screws and fuel level gauge 2.
• Remove the screw.
• Remove the fuel pump 3 from the fuel pump plate 4.
• Remove the fuel pump holder 5 and rubber cushion 6.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
Keep heat, spark and flame away.
