5-14 FUEL SYSTEM AND THROTTLE BODY
THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL
• Remove the air cleaner box. (5-13)
• Disconnect the throttle cables from their drum.
• Place a rag under the fuel feed hose and disconnect the fuel
feed hose from the fuel pump.
• Disconnect the STVA lead wire coupler 1, STP sensor lead
wire coupler 2 and TP sensor lead wire coupler 3.
• Remove the wire clamps 4 and disconnect the fuel injector
lead wire couplers 5.
• Loosen the throttle body clamp screws at the intake pipe side.
After disconnecting the throttle cables, do not snap
the throttle valve from full open to full close. It may
cause damage to the throttle valve and throttle body.
