7-18 COOLING AND LUBRICATION SYSTEM
INSPECTION AND CLEANING
• Road dirt or trash stuck to the fins must be removed.
• Use of compressed air is recommended for this cleaning.
• Fins bent down or dented can be repaired by straightening
them with the blade of a small screwdriver.
INSTALLATION
• Install a new O-ring 1.
NOTE:
Apply engine oil to the O-ring 1.
• Tighten the oil cooler hose bolts to the specified torque.
Oil cooler hose bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lb-ft)
Use the new O-rings to prevent engine oil leakage.
