• Draw out the swingarm pivot bearings 1 and the swingarm
cushion rod upper bearings 2 with the special tool.

CUSHION LEVER BEARING
• Insert the spacer into bearing and check the play when mov-
ing the spacer up and down.
• If excessive play is noted, replace the bearing with a new one.
• Draw out the cushion lever bearings with the special tool.

CUSHION LEVER AND CUSHION LEVER RODS
• Inspect the cushion lever and cushion lever rods for damage.
The removed bearings must be replaced with new
ones.
