Use an ohmmeter a
nd
check for continuity
between the 2 terminals on the solenoid side
of
the
connector. There should
be
continuity
(0.1-1.0
ohms). Disconnect the ohmmeter.

to the solenoid electrical connector as follows;
positive
(+)
10 the black/red and negative
(-)
to the black/white terminal (

d. With the bancry connected.
the
solenoid
should operate.

solenoid as described

this chapter.

of
corrosion and
is
tight.

solenoid and cable to the frame. Remove the
solenoid and cable from the frame.

Remove the E-clip from the pivot pin a

disconnect the cable from the solenoid.

Install

reversing these removal step
