I. Measure the thickness

the disc at several
locations

before running this check.
Check the disc runoul

Slowly rotate the wheel and watch the dial
indicator. If the runout exceeds

4. Clean the

st or corrosion and wipe
clean with lacquer thinner. Never use an oil-based
solvent that

leave an oil residue on the disc.

Brake
Bleeder Process
This procedure uses a brake bleeder that is
available from motorcycle
or
aUlOmotive supply
stores or from mail order outlets.
I. Remove the dust cap (Fig
ure
65) from the bleed
valve on the caliper assembly.

Connect the brake bleeder to the bleed valve
on the caliper assembly (
Figur
e 66).
