the drive belt upper cover (

at the rear and remove the upper cover.

Straighten the tab (

lock

an assistant apply the rea r brake and
loosen the drive pulley
nut

Remove the nut and lockwasher. Discard the
lock washer.

Remove the left-hand shock absorber as

this chapter.

t or rod into the hole (

in
the left-hand

the axle.

driven sprocket.

Remove the drive pulley and drive bell.
Installation
1.
Make sure the drive belt is properly meshed
with the driven pulley on the rear wheel.
