❒ Cleaning and care of equipment
The equipment should be kept clean and
dusted in accordance with normal hygienic
practices, especially if it is used in a fitness
center or by more than one person.
The control panel should be cleaned as
follows:
- turn off the equipment, setting the switch
at 0;
- unplug the equipment from the wall
socket;
- clean the display with a damp (not
soaking) cloth.
Clean the entire equipment weekly:
- with the equipment turned off, clean the
external parts with a damp sponge;
- move the equipment to vacuum the spot
on which it stands.
If the chest band needs washing, use a
water-and-soap solution, then let it dry for a
few hours in a warm, dry place, far from direct
sources of heat.
To sterilize the chest band, use a disinfectant
for surgical tools, available in drugstores.
Use common dish detergent to clean the
water bottle. Avoid chemical products or
solvents.
WARNING
Take care not to rub too hard on the
control panel or on the signs and
instructions on the stickers.
WARNING
If the equipment is used for medical
purposes, it is recommended to
clean the chest band after each use.
