Cursors
RATIO
(~Vl,
~V2, ~V) Function
When
the
2212 is
switched
to
timebase
(
Y-t)
mode,
you
can
se-
lect
the
AVl
and
AV2
cursors
with
the
AV1/AV2 /AT/1/AT
cursor
mode
switch.
The
delta
volts
(AVl,
AV2,
AV)
readout
is
displayed
as a
percentage
"RA TIO" (
with
a
vertical
signal
offive
screen
divisions
correspond-
ing
to
a
ratio
of
100%),
when:
-
The
VOL TS/DIV
of
a
selected
vertical
channel
is
in
the
UNCAL
position.
- ADD
mode
is
selected
and
the
CH 1
and
CH
2
deflection
factors
are
not
the
same
(e.g.
one
vertical
channel
is
in
the
UNCAL
position,
or
the
VOL TS/DIV
settings
are
not
the
same).
The
delta
volts
RATIO
function
is
applicable
to
the
A
Vl
as
well
as
to
the
AV2
and
to
the
AV
function.

Cursor Function
When
the
2212 is
switched
to
X-Y
mode,
you
can
select
the
AVX
and
AVY
cursors
with
the
AV1/AV2 /AT/1/AT
cursor
mode
switch.
The
AVl
cursors
become
the
AVX
cursors
(vertical
lines
on
the
crt).
The
AVX
cursors
represent
a
crt
readout
display
of
a voltage
measure-
ment
that
depends
upon:
-
The
distance
between
the
position
of
the
vertical cursors.
-
The
CH 2 VOL TS/DIV
switch
setting.
-
The
probe
coding.

VY
Cursor Function
When
the
2212 is
in
X-Y
Mode,
you
can
select
the
AVX
and
AVY
cursors
with
the
AV1/AV2 /AT/1/AT
cursor
mode
switch.
