Procedure Steps
Step 1. Check Probe Adjust Operation
a. SET:
VOL TS/DIV (CH 1)
SEC/DIV 0.5 ms
Trigger SOURCECH 1
10mV

b. Connect the lOX probe to the CH 1 OR X input con-
nector and clip the probe tip to the PROBE ADJUST con-
nector on the front panel.
c. If necessary, adjust the probe compensation for a flat-
topped squarewave display (See also Figure 2-1 on
page 2-4).
d. CHECK -That the display amplitude is between 4.75
to 5.25 divisions.
X-Y Display Checks
The X-Y Display Check procedures check those characteristics
that relate to the X-Y Display system and that are listed under
Warranted Characteristics in Appendix B: Specifications. You
should set up the test equipment as shown at the start of the pro-
cedure list. Changes to the test set-up will be indicated in the pro-
cedures, if necessary.
