Step 2. Check Sweep Length
a. SET:
SEC/DIV 0.1 ms
Horizontal Magnify Xl
b. Select 0.1 ms time markers from the time-mark
generator.
c. Position the start of the sweep at the first vertical
graticule line using the Horizontal POSITION control.
d. CHECK - That the sweep length is ~ 10 divisions.

The Triggering Checks procedures check those characteristics
that relate to the trigger system and that are listed under War-
ranted Characteristics in Appendix B: Specifications. You should
set up the test equipment as shown at the start of the procedure
list. Changes to the test set-up will be indicated in the proce-
dures, if necessary.
