ENGINE REASSEMBLY
12. Turn the crankshaft on the TDC-adjusting tool
several times in the rotation direction until the
marking ends flush with the crankcase joint.
13. Check if the camshaft marking ends flush with
the cross bar.

7 mm: Remove two bolts

15. Remove the TDC-adjusting tool

1. Hold the suction pump intermediate gear

in position.
Observe the position of the bevel

2. Insert the axle

INSTALLING SUCTION PUMP INTERMEDIATE GEAR
3. 8 mm: Install the plug

and seal
according to the specification Screw-in plugs
with collar M18x1.5. (See section D
Tightening torques und assembly instructions.)
INSTALLING SUCTION PUMP COVER
1. Insert two sleeves

2. Apply the silicone liquid seal according to the
specification Liquid sealing contour suction
pump cover. (See section D Liquid sealing
contours.)
Observe when applying the suction pump cover,
that the gears of the oil suction pump and the
intermediate gear

are engaged.
