SPECIFICATIONS
TIE ROD THREAD PROTUSION
1. When removing the cylinder head nuts, check
the tie rod thread protusion

to the cross
bar

"A" before romoval and after
installation.
Permissible tie rod thread protrusion:

Maximum 15,4 mm

Maximum 16 mm
2. If the maximum permissible thread protrusion
is exceeded, replace the tie rod.
THERMOSTAT
Information! The thermostat is fitted with a wax element. Opening temperature from 82 °C [179 °F].
The thermostat is fully open at 88 °C [190 °F].

Thermostat opened
1. Perform a visual inspection on the thermostat.
2. If the thermostat is opened at temperatures
below 82 °C [179 °F], replace the thermostat.
3. Place the closed thermostat into hot water with
at least 88 °C [190 °F].
The thermostat starts to open immediately.
4. If the thermostat is not fully open or remains
closed at temperatures above 88 °C [190 °F],
replace the thermostat.
