excessiveheatandcausedamagetothesealsandothercomponentsinthe
hydraulicsystem.Ifbothchargecircuitpressureandliftoperationsperform
poorly,performthegearpumpowtest.
Ifliftoperationisunsatisfactory,checktheliftcircuitreliefvalve(RV1);referto
TestingtheLiftandTiltAngleCircuits–ReliefValve(RV1)Pressure(page5–38).

gallons/minute)capacity.
•1HydraulicHose
•Non-contacttachometer(phototach)
TestProcedure
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachments,engagethe
parkingbrakeandsetthekeyswitchtotheOFFposition.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinTestingtheHydraulicSystem
(page5–19).
3.Removethehood.
4.Cleanthettingandthehydraulichoseendatthecontrolvalve“P”port.
