circuitovervoltfaults(faults82through87forthemotor/generator,RM1,RM2,RM3,RM4,andRM5)areactive
atthesametime.IftheTEC-5002isloggingmultipleovervoltfaults,thelikelycauseisamotor/generatorissue
(e.g.,chargingsystemfailure,wrongtypeofbatteriesinstalled,etc.)Whencomparingamultipleovervoltevent
towhentheTEC-5002isloggingindividualovervoltfaults,thesinglecomponenthighvoltagefailureislikely
causedbyasingleinternalvoltageregulatorissuewithinthecomponent.

TheReelmaster5010-H48Vdcsystemincludesa48Vdcbatteryarray(4sealed12VdcAGMbatteries
connectedinseries),anengine-drivenmotor/generatorassembly,5cuttingreelmotors,amaincontactorused
toenergizethesystem,andadditionalcircuitcontrolcomponents.
ConditionsforSettingtheFault
TheTEC-5002reportsafault31ifitdetectsthatall6individual48VdcKeySwitchOvervoltfaultsareactiveat
thesametime.Theovervoltagethresholdpointis67.5Vdc.
Note:ThisfaultcanoccuriftheTEC-5002losescommunicationwiththemotor/generator(M/G)andtheengine
issettomaximumrpm.Inthismode,theoperatorlosescontroloftheenginespeed.TheM/Gcommunication
issuemustberesolvedbeforeattemptingtoxtheovervoltageissue.

Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.
1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page21).
2.Operatethemachine.
