powerrelayisenergized.Ifall3ofthe12Vdcbatteryvoltagecircuitsarereportinganopencondition,afault
5isreported.Analysisofthe12VdcbatterycircuitsintheTEC-5002controllermayindicatethatthemain
powerrelayhasfailed.
ConditionsforSettingtheFault
ThemainpowerrelayisusedtoprovidecurrenttotheTEC-5002,headlights,powerportandoptionalelectric
equipment.WhentheignitionswitchisineithertheON/PREHEATortheSTARTposition,themainpowerrelay
isenergized.Analysisofthe12VdcbatteryvoltagecircuitsintheTEC-5002controllermayindicatethat
themainpowerrelayhasfailed.

1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page21).
2.Operatethemachine.

coverofthecontrolarm(Figure23).
