RecommendedServiceActions

Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.

1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page21).

2.Operatethemachine.

Pass

Thefaultdidnotrepeat.GotoReturningtheMachinetoService(page22)andfollowthestepslisted.

Note:Ifthefaultdoesnotrepeat,anisolatedeventhasoccurred.

Fail

Thefaultrepeated.GotoStep2.

Step2:Testthealternator.

Useamultimetertoperformthefollowingstepstotestthealternator.

1.GotoPreparingforTroubleshootingand/orT esting(page22)andfollowthestepslisted.

2.Atthebackofthemachine,releasethescreenlatchandpivotthescreentotheopenposition(Figure44).
