ChecktheConditionoftheBattery
1.Inspectforanycorroded,loose,ordamagedwiresandconnections,includingallchassisgroundpoints.
•Loosen,clean,andtightenthebatteryconnections(cables,posts,etc.).
•Loosen,clean,andtightenthechassisgroundpoints.
2.Loadtestthebatterytoensureitmeetstheoutputspecication.
TesttheChargingSystem
Testthechargingsystemtoensureitmeetstheoutputspecication.
InspectFusesandFusibleLinks
1.Verifyallfusesareofthecorrectratingandthatthecontactsarecleanandsecurelyseated.
2.Verifyallfusiblelinksareofthecorrectratingandthattheconnectorsarecleanandsecurelyseated.
Note:Openfusesarenotnecessarilythecauseofafailure.
