ConditionsforSettingtheFault
ComponentsignalsontheCANbuscircuitareinterruptediftheCANbuscircuitisdisconnected.IftheCANbus
circuitisdisconnected,theTEC-5002disconnectspowertothe5cuttingreelmotorsandthemotor/generator,
andtheTEC-5002reportsfault28.
Note:Whilethisfaultisactive,theenginegoestohighidleandtheoperatordoesnothavecontrolofengine
speed.ThishappensbecausetheTEC-5002controllerdoesn'thaveenginespeedfeedbacksincethe
generatorisofine.Thecuttingreelmotorsandthemotor/generatoraredisabled.

1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page21).
2.Operatethemachine.

ofthenodeontheCANbusisnodespecicoriscommonthroughoutthesystem.Theappropriatefault(s)
arethendisplayedandstored.
Step2:Withtheengineoff,checkthe48Vdcbatterysystem.
Note:The48Vdcbatterypackiscomposedof4sealed12VdcAGMbatteriesconnectedinseries.
1.Turntheengineoff.
2.Raiseandsupporttheoperator’sseat,thenremovetheblackplasticcoverfromthemaincontactor.
