Placement of thermostatic
head
• Install the thermostatic head on a hydraulic radiator only.
• Ensure that the thermostatic head is away from direct sunlight.
• Ensure that the thermostatic head is away from any source of
humidity and water splashes (IP20).
• Ensure that the thermostatic head is positioned at least 40 cm
away from the room controller to avoid interference.
8.2 Label thermostatic head
Label the thermostatic heads, where suitable, with the channel
numbers they are connected to, for example, #02, #03. For a system
with several room controllers, add the ID of each room controller, for
example, 1.02, 1.03, 2.02, 2.03.
8.3 Start the thermostatic head
Remove the plastic transportation strips from the batteries to start the
thermostatic head.
The thermostatic head use two alkaline 1.5 V AA batteries which
provides about 2 years of battery life, as long as it is positioned within
radio range of the room controller. Ensure that the batteries are
correctly inserted in the thermostatic head.
The thermostatic head will perform a self test, for about 10 seconds,
when the batteries have been inserted. The system will be blocked
for input.
Current software version is displayed during power up.
When powered up, the display switches to a message showing if the
thermostatic head is not registered to a room controller.
