Dynamic Data
Type
Function
Clock function allows you to display the local time in a message.
Temperature allows you to display or insert the local temperature in
celsius or Fahrenheit in a message.
Calendar allows you to display or insert Today’s Date as day, date,
month, year or any combination of these in a message.
Radar allows you to display or insert captured Speed readings in KM/H or
MPH in a message.
Countdown allows you to display the time remaining before an
event/operation in days, hours, minutes, seconds or any combination of
these.
Table 5 - Dynamic data types
1. Open Edit Message screen and use the on-screen keyboard to type any text
that you want to display on the page before the Special Tag information.
2. Position the pointer where the dynamic data is to display and on the Edit
Message toolbar, tap Special Tag.
3. Select the dynamic data type that you require.
4. Select the information format for the data type and tap Insert.
5. Proceed to adjust the page characteristics (Fonts, Time etc.).
6. Complete the remainder of your message then select any Operation buttons to
save.
NOTE
Displaying a Radar speed reading (Special Tag) in a message is not the same as
triggering a message by radar input.
