7.15 BCB Box (Optional 2)
The UPS provides a BCB box as an option, which contains a battery switch and a battery switch control board to protect the
battery from over-discharge and over-current. The battery switch box also plays the role of electrical isolation between the
UPS and the battery, minimizing the danger of maintenance personnel when working.
The BCB provides the following functions:
• Short circuit protection and EOD protection. The BCB opens automatically when the battery voltage drops to the
EOD voltage point.
• Support the UPS EPO function. The BCB opens automatically when the EPO switch on the touchscreen of the
UPS is pressed.
• When an internal fault occurs in the UPS, the battery switch can be disengaged actively to prevent the fault from
expanding and protect the user's property safety.
