Configuring the P5000i Scope

Tip (only with P5000i Scope)
On the line Tip, select the tip set onto the scope to connect fiber for inspec-
tion.
Capture button (only with P5000i Scope)
This parameter allows to select the action of the Quick Capture button onto
the Scope (see Figure 16 on page 48):
Freeze & Test pressing the button will automatically perform a test of
fiber and freeze the result
Freeze image pressing the button onto the Scope will automatically
freeze the live image.
Auto Center (only with P5000i Scope)
This parameter allows to select if the scope image must be centered on
screen (select Yes) or not (select No).
File
The File box allows to configure the saving of scope results.
The Dir parameter is displayed in grey, and indicates the directory into
which the results will be saved. To change the directory, press F
ILE hardkey
and select another directory from the file Explorer page; then press S
ETUP
hard key to return to Scope Setup page.
On the line Filenaming, use the edition keypad, which will display by
clicking on the right arrow key, to enter a specific name for the file. You can
enter manually a name and/or use pre-defined parameters (Fiber Id, Cable
Id, Locations...).
