8 Common Advanced Network Settings
L The conguration settings described in this section are not mandatory.
Advanced Network settings are available in ICX-AlphaCom, Edge Controller and SIP mode.
8.1 SNMP Settings
SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) is a protocol for centralizing the management of
devices in IP networks.
● Select Advanced Network > SNMP
SNMP Settings
Access
- Options are Read or Disable SNMP
Enable SNMP v1
- This enables reading of the MIB using SNMP version 1.
