3.24 Hammer operation
Before using a hydraulic hammer, always read the Operator’s Manual of this
attachment
Accident hazard!
☞ The Operator’s Manual is supplied with the hydraulic hammer!
Always wear protective goggles and ear protectors during hammer operation!
Installing a hydraulic hammer on the mount
Proceed as follows:
☞ Apply the parking brake
☞ Stop the engine
☞ Do not disengage the starter
☞ Press the pedal for the auxiliary hydraulics to the left and right for about 5 – 8 seconds
(safety bars closed)
☞ Disengage the starter and remove the starting key
☞ Raise the safety bars
☞ Connect the hydraulic lines onto the auxiliary hydraulics couplings
☞ Route the lines through eyelet A on the hammer mount
☞ Install the lines on the hammer as shown in Fig. 84 and tie them together with tie-wrap B
