Sawmills equipped with bed extensions can accept heavier logs if the weight is distributed so neither the sawmill or
extension is loaded beyond the 4400 lbs. (1996 Kg) limit. Loading logs heavier than 4400 lbs. (1996 Kg) on a sawmill
equipped with a bed extension requires auxiliary log handling equipment.
