Saw Head Tilt
As the blade enters a wide log or cant, the outside of the saw head will drop down slightly.
To compensate for the drop, the saw head is adjusted 1/26" (1 mm) higher at the outside.
1. Move the saw carriage so the blade is positioned over a bed rail. Adjust the blade guide arm to 1/2"
(15 mm) from full open.
2. Raise the saw head so the bottom of the blade measures 14 3/4" (375 mm) from the top surface
of the bed rail near the inner blade guide assembly.
See Figure 7-1.
3. Measure from the blade to the bed rail near the outer blade guide assembly. This measurement
should be 1/26" (1 mm) higher than the inner measurement or 14 13/16" (376mm).
