Blade Guide Vertical Tilt Alignment
The blade guides should be adjusted properly in the vertical plane. If the blade guides are tilted
vertically, the blade will try to travel in the tilted direction.
A Blade Guide Alignment Tool (BGAT) is provided to help you measure the vertical tilt of the blade.
1. Open the adjustable blade guide arm 1/2" (15 mm) from full open.
2. Clip the alignment tool on the blade. Position the tool close to the outer blade guide roller. Be sure
the tool does not rest on a tooth or burr, and is lying flat on the blade.
