Cautions and Limitations
This section describes a few additional notes and restrictions on the use of the
machine. Most of this type of information is contained in the Safety Notes section of
Chapter 1 of this User Guide.
Notes and Restrictions on Use of the Machine
Installing and Moving the Machine
z
When moving the machine outside the building, contact your Xerox Customer
Support Center.
z
When moving the machine, be careful not to touch or do anything that could cause
electricity to surge through the machine - as this could damage the machine and
cause a shock to the person moving it.
z
Do not place things close to the ventilation opening of the extractor fan of the
machine.
Cautions on Operating the Machine
z
Do not turn off the circuit breaker (main power switch) immediately after turning the
machine on. It may damage the machine memory and cause malfunctions.
z
Do not leave the upper unit open for more than ten minutes. It may result in
deterioration of the image quality.
