Interrupting a Scan Job
You can interrupt the current print job for an urgent scan job.
Note • You cannot interrupt a copy job for a scan job.
1 Press the <Interrupt> button on the control
panel.
The <Interrupt> indicator is blinking. It indicates the
interrupt has been requested. The current print job is
suspended.
When the interrupt is ready, the <Interrupt> indicator is lit
(no longer blinking).
2 Select [Scan].
3 Set the mailbox and other features for the
interrupt.
4 Set the original aligning with the original guide.
For information about the procedure to set the originals, refer to "Step 3 Starting a Scan Job"
(P.74).
5 Press the <Start> button.
6 When the interrupt is completed, press the <Interrupt> button again.
The interruption mode is cancelled, and the suspended job resumes.
Note • The interruption mode will be automatically cancelled after 30 seconds has elapsed without
scan operation.
