Scan Start Position (Shifting the Start Position for Scanning the Original)
You can skip the unneeded portion of the lead edge of the original by shifting the start
position for scanning the original.
The length from the edge of the original to the scan start position can be set from 0 to
999 mm in 1 mm increments.
1 Select [Scan Start Position].
2 Set the scan start position using the numeric
keypad or [ ], [ ], and select [Save].
Note • When Reduce/Enlarge is set, the scan start
position is also enlarged or reduced
proportionately to the copy ratio.
Lead & Trail Margins (Making Copies with the Lead and Trail Margins)
Lead and trail margins can be added to copies.
Set the lead and trail margins within the range from 0 to 999mm in 1 mm increments.
1 Select [Lead & Trail Margins].
2 Set the margins using the numeric keypad or
[ ], [ ], and select [Save].
