6. Remove the rear cover, Figure 5.

8. Prepare to remove the top cover assembly, Figure 7.
NOTE: Removing the 4 screws that secure the document transport assembly will ease
the removal of the top cover assembly.

then the rear cover.

Release the top cover
restraining strap.

Remove the input tray. Ensure
the harness is released through
the hole in the frame.

Disconnect CN3.

Remove 4 screws.
