POP3
Post Office Protocol, version 3 (POP3) is a protocol that allows email clients to retrieve email from remote
servers over TCP/IP on network port 110. This printer uses POP3 for the Internet fax and email features
to retrieve fax jobs over email. POP3 is not compatible with IPv6.
1. In CentreWare Internet Services, click Properties>Connectivity>Setup.
2. Under Protocol, next to POP3 Setup, click Edit.
3. Under Server Information, select IPv4 or Host Name.
4. Type the address or server name.
5. Under Login Name, type the name assigned to the printer used to log in to the POP3 server.
6. Under Password, type and confirm a password.
7. To save the new password, click Select to save new password.
8. In the POP3 Settings pane, select Enable receipt of Email via POP3.
9. Under Polling Interval, type a value from 1 through 60.
10. Click Save.
