IDLING SPEED ADJUSTMENT/
THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT

Engine idling speed
Out of specification

Adjust.
4.Adjust:

Engine idle speed

Adjustment steps:
●
Turn the pilot screw

until it is lightly
seated.
●
Turn the pilot screw out by the specified
number of turns.
●
Turn the throttle stop screw

in or out until
the specified idling speed is obtained.

5.Adjust:
●
Throttle cable free play
Refer to the “THROTTLE CABLE ADJUST-
MENT” section.
Engine idling speed:
1,350 ~ 1,450 r/min.
Pilot screw:
3 turns out
Turning in Idling speed is increased.
Turning out Idling speed is decreased.

Prior to adjusting the throttle cable free play,
the engine idling speed should be adjusted.
